Perhaps Bob is finding out about more families in his practice that are
nursing for an extended period of time because he asks and doesn't respond
in a negative manner when they tell him the truth. In my neck of the
woods, women still hear "You're still breastfeeding?" from some office
nurses and their physicians when they are tell them the truth. Or, if they
need medications for an illness, they don't tell their physicians or
pharmacists because they either won't prescribe the medication they need or
will advise them to wean.

Good for you Bob and the rest of the physicians on our list who treat this
as a normal everyday occurrence, which it is!
