Hello my dear colleague,

I work at a university hospital with annual delivery about 1500 to 1700. Currently we don’t have any full time IBCLC at inpatient floor. Now we consider a full time LC. Could you please help me with the following information?

1.Are you full time or party time LC? If party time how many LC hours per week?
2.How many annual deliveries at your facility?
3.What are your roles as LC, such as consultant, staff education, discharge follow up, and multi department coverage?

I greatly appreciate you information! Thank you!

Jing Song RN IBCLC
