The Dr. Brown pump was invented by Whittlestone, but they didn't have
the money to market it. I received a bunch of the Whittlestone branded
ones to trial with clients, and it was effective and comfortable for the
women I gave it to. I have not tried the Dr. Brown version, but I don't
expect it to be very different (They used a wide mouthed bottle with the
pump before).

I do worry about that straw in the Dr. Brown's bottles, in terms of
sanitation. They can't be easy to clean.
