Hi Alicia:

Thanks for additional info. As noted, adult chicken pox may be much more
severe than childhood cases. LCs may want to think anticipatory guidance for
potentially a very sick mom. She may be too sick for a few days to do much
breastfeeding--or someone may need to bring baby/pump to her p.r.n. at least.
Plans for full time household help for several days may avoid "crisis"
intervention if mom contracts disease.
