Now that Tom Hale is back on Lactnet, I want to tell you about a wonderful
Australian tour with Tom, Larry Gartner, Gabrielle Palmer and James
McKenna..  one-day conferences in 4 cities, Jim also did 3 evening public
lectures and we finished with a 4 day conference in another city (with 30
other speakers)... in a total of ten days.. and the feedback was just so
positive. We had other overseas speakers at the 4 day conference including
Elsa Giugliani, ILCA Intl Rep from Brazil and registrants (including
Lactnetters) from the USA, NZ, Malaysia and about 6 other countries.
On tour, everyone had a great time together (Carol Gartner and Quetha Hale
also toured) and we have many, many fun stories and memories, one of the
highlights for me was Jim McKenna's tap dancing !
Breastfeeding advocates are encouraged and all the 'richer' as a result of
their tour.
