* Gulick E. The Effects of Breastfeeding on Toddler Health. Pediatric
Nursing, Jan-Feb. 1986.
* Goldman AS, Garza C. Immunologic components in human milk during the
second year of lactation. Acta Paediatr Scand 1983;72:461-462.

For amount of milk taken by older children, look at Neville and Neifert's
work in various journals; Early Human Development has some articles on this
too. And the DARLING study articles by Dewey, Heinig, Nommsen-Rivers,
Lonnerdal and others.

The "breastmilk advantages wear out over time" argument is often presented
by those who have been listening to formula reps touting their latest
"follow-up" formulas, IMHO. Where are their references?
