Dear Friends,

I am looking for help for a mother with dimpled nipples on both sides. She
is currently nursing her second baby, born yesterday. She nursed her first
for 6 months and said that her nipples were injured the entire time.
Throughout the 6 months she used various healing methods on her nipples
which, she says, worked temporarily and the moment that she stopped, the
problem returned.  She stopped at 6 months because of the pain but would
really like to continue longer this time.

The baby latched on well in a clutch hold and with out any pain but mom's
nipple looks pretty red and raw where it is folded in. I assume that the
problem is the folded part being sucked out and then refolding and being
sucked out again.
It would great to hear your experiences and advice.
