Leuprolide inhibits gonatropin secretion and ultimately(2 weeks) completely
suppresses all gonatropin release from the pituitary. It will undoubtedly
inhibit lactation rapidly. Because it is a nonapeptide(10 peptide chain),
it is poorly absorbed orally, and would probably not hurt a breastfeeding
infant even if it were secreted into human milk.
