Has anyone asked the neonatologist/pedi for references re: the abm is better
in situations involving respiratory distress as it "sticks"? I'm sure there
are more than a few references available about the digestibility of
breastmilk and its subsequent lowered demand on baby's metabolic
processes--leaving baby with more energy for breathing. Also assume the
baby's physician took into account the immunological properties of the
mother's milk and potential protective factors re: pneumonia and other
respiratory infections that this neonate would be more susceptible to? Oui?
