Coincedentally, the day after reading this great post (by Kathy Dettwyler)
and copying it to a text file I keep on my desktop, I received this the next
morning in my daily "ePregnancy update":

"HELP WANTED: THE IDEAL MOTHER
Easygoing, relaxed, loving type to care for infant. Should enjoy rocking,
cuddling, be able to hold baby patiently for 20-minute feedings every three
or four hours without fidgeting. "

This must be evidence of bottle feeding as the assumed norm. Imagine trying
to get home to the refridgerator every 3 - 4 hours! The mental image in my
head of a woman sitting stock still with a (assumed) bottle contrasts
greatly with the mobile, sling-ing breastfeeding mom I have become used to
seeing.
