A pregnant client wants information about taking Isosorbide DN while
breastfeeding. She takes 5-10 mg. (occasionally 15 mg.) before lunch and
dinner for achalasia ("failure of the cardiac sphicter to open when it
should"). She really wants to breastfeed. Muscle relaxants haven't helped
her, and she found nifedipine less helpful than isosorbide.

Dr. Tom Hale has graciously replied to my private e-mail on the subject. If
anyone else has information, especially physicians or pharmacists, please
e-mail me privately, as I am currently NOMAIL. Please let me know if I can
quote you to the woman concerned.

TIA,
Bonnie
