You have mentioned this before, Susan, and I would really like to read this 
study, do you have a reference?  I know that the George study you also 
mentioned is only one of two considered to meet the criteria for inclusion 
in the Cochrane review on the benefits and harms of weighing.  The paucity 
of the evidence on this gets a mention in the Cochrane Review. David Morely 
has a lot of interesting papers -- he is an advocate of weighing but he 
documented the poor understanding many doctors, let alone illiterate women, 
had of weighing in a variety of devleoping settings in which he worked.
