Dear Mary Ann,
For information regarding the Nutritional Support of the Very Low Birth Weight Infant which includes the use of unpasteurized milk in the NICU, go to www.cpqcc.org website....the California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative. The HMBANA milk banks routinely ship donor milk to other cities. This situation provides you with the opportunity to establish a donor milk protocol in your hospital providing all your NICU babies the option of human donor milk.
Hope this help...Good Luck.
