We have a representative in Wisconsin who wants to introduce legislation to
give a tax break to companies that offer a good place for their employees
to pump breastmilk for their babies. He also wants to introduce
legislation mandating insurance companies to cover lactation consultants.

He wants to know what has been done in other states. I remember reading
something in the past couple of months about a state addressing one or both
of these issues. I think that it was Minnesota. I thought that I kept the
post, but can't find it.

If anyone knows of any such legislation, will you post to me privately
about it?

Thanks,

Pat Gima, IBCLC
