I haven't noticed a post on this yet. If anyone watches the evening cable
news shows you can't miss all the coverage of the Scott Peterson trial. I have
now heard Gloria Allred, Amber Frey's attorney make numerous positive mention
about breastfeeding.

Ms. Allred has said that her client, Amber Frey, uses her breaks from
testimony to breastfeed her baby because, "Just because she is a witness in a major
trial she is certainly not going to stop breastfeeding her baby." She has also
made several comments about how impressed she is with Amber as a person. One
reason she has mentioned twice is that Amber brings her baby to court so
breastfeeding is not interrupted. Another comment was, "Amber is up at night
breastfeeding her baby even though she has to be up early to be in court."

Yesterday a taped conversation between Amber Frey and the defendant was
played on Fox news. The first thing you hear is Amber mention breastfeeding her
baby, this time referring to her first child not the one she is bringing to
court.

Now I find myself tuning into cable coverage not because I want an update on
the trial but because it is so refreshing to hear daily plugs for
breastfeeding. Heather Dana
