I would very much like to hear of personal experiences. As Jean said, we can't expect hospital-sanctioned studies any time soon. We can, however, share our own experiences.

I nursed through a pregnancy.  I never had contractions while nursing.  I was cautious as I had pre term labor with my first.  Mostly limited nursings b/c my nipples were so sore.
