Its interesting what you can find on the internet.

Prolacta is hiring sales reps.

This description of the product below, does not mention "preemies" or
"special needs" at all - to a lay person this would sound like a product
that many babies need.  Well, in fact that is what is says below - "Many
babies have nutritional requirements when first born that exceed the
nutrition that naturally occur in mother's milk.  This nutrition is critical
for the babys health and growth. As a result, many neonatology departments
add nutrients to the mother's milk."

Hmmm - not sure that sounds like a company that wants to support
breastfeeding, or even moms feeding their own milk via pumping.

But that's just the way it reads to me.

Job Description: Prolacta is a life sciences company that provides for the
nutritional needs of infants. Many babies have nutritional requirements when
first born that exceed the nutrition that naturally occur in mother's milk.
This nutrition is critical for the babys health and growth. As a result,
many neonatology departments add nutrients to the mother's milk. We are a
leader in the production of human milk-based fortifiers. Due to dynamic
growth and a recent distribution agreement, we seek a highly motivated
Medical Sales Professional calling on Hospitals selling the concentrated
breast milk. The position is also responsible for maintaining current,
detailed customer records including key account information and sales call
results. If you have the qualifications listed below, we encourage you to

Skills/Experience Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Requirements:

- Licensed Registered nurse or Dietitian
- Minimum 3 years medical sales
- Strategic hospital selling experience
- Currently calling on the NICU, Doctors, and Neonatal Practitioners

Licensed Registered Nurse or Dietitian preferred.

Biologics and reimbursement experience a plus.

Individual must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills,
must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong
presentation skills are a must.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree
Percentage of Travel: 75

State/Province/Region: South Central Region (Must reside in Texas)
Site Location: Field Sales.
