I just read the post about WA legisation.  I, too, am sad to say that
our House Bill 642 (about brf and working) did not make it out of
committee.  The reason was not that it was not deemed a good idea, but
that legislation was not deemed necessary (arrrgh!).  The chairman has
agreed to write a letter to the Dept. Health formally asking that they
do a Demo. Project.  They probably will.  Also, the Delegate that
sponsored the bill and our lobbyist (husband of an LC!) are planning
actions to get support in the business community...or at least increase
awareness.  Even though I'm sad, I feel all is not lost!
