I collected all the responses to my question about unsupportive dads... and in raw form I have 9 pages of responses!  One of these days I'll consolidate them in a handout.  I'll let you know when that happens :-)

Interesting how many of them were some form of "Don't offer solutions, offer support."  You know, sometimes I think that's the most helpful thing *I* do, too, despite all the knowledge I like to think I've acquired...
