I too had dizziness while I was breastfeeding my third who also started
solids much later, but I think that was coincidental. I have vertigo which
comes on usually two ways--either from allergies affecting my ears with fluid
in the Spring, or from sudden drops in blood sugar. I am more prone to
vertigo if I get tired. Would recommend that mom have a neurological and/or
ENT checkup. Would also check for sudden drops in blood sugar. Did she have
a 5-6 hr. glucose test or just a simple sugar? Good luck with this mom--I
hope she finds the answer--and I'll bet it's "not" the breastfeeding!
