Re: the woman whose MS symptoms are in remission during breastfeeding:

I've heard of bfing keeping MS symptoms at bay, and I suddenly wonder:  Would she want to consider being a longterm provider for a milk bank?  Her milk supply for the current baby will start to dwindle within a year or two at the outside, and it may be that she'd want to start pumping rather than let nature take its course.  Pumping is no fun, but my guess is it beats MS symptoms.  If it didn't work she could always stop.

A brand new thought for me, but an intriguing one.  There's that story in Politics of Breastfeeding of the woman who could still produce a stream of sweet milk in her 80s...
