And the ER did NOT check the bilirubin???
The only Pediatric ERs I know of are at MMC and PCH. Both would have
checked bilirubin.  
I suggest a telephone call by you to the pediatrician ASAP, followed by
your faxed report if not done already. Recommend to the Pedi that baby be
seen now, not next week.
And I strongly agree with CW-G's post.
Since they live 60 min away, call her today for status: poops & peeps since
the consult, sleep/wake behavior, how they are feeding baby, her pumping
technique and results, ability to pace babe with the bottle, etc. And urge
them to take babe to the Pedi.
