I received a phone call this week from a Mom who is currently nursing a
15month old. She began gradual weaning and was only nursing 3 times a day.
Her periods resumed and were very regular. She then reduced the nursing to
twice a day with no change in her period. Over the last several months she
has the nursing down to once a day. Her periods are now irregular coming
closer together.  She wondered if the nursing had anything to do with this.
She is trying to become pregnant and is concerned with the irregular periods
yet is reluctant to give up the special bond that she has with the nursing
child.  Any suggestions?
