No flames please, just thinking "aloud"...

Could these babies be taught to suck their thumbs?  Clean or dirty, most
babies have their hands in their mouths anyway, and any concerns about
teeth/jaw development seem pretty small compared to the profound concerns of
the more immediate situation.
