Whoa, it has now become trendy to see a lactation consultant in Manhattan!
This can be a first step to acceptance in the mainstream of society.  The
same was true of the introduction of artificial milk formula.  It became
trendy among women who could afford it and then poorer women wanted it also.
May be that this is coming full circle.
