I just read all of the posts from the last couple of days.  I have to say that Elizabeth Boggs, I agreed with your very thoughtful written post.  I love your line  "I practice in a country where patient autonomy is valued. I counsel, she decides, and then I do my best to support without judgment."  This is something we must all remember in our daily practice and in our choice of words, especially to our patients.  Well said, thank you for the reminder, Elizabeth!
