Hi Lactnetters!

     I am a private practice LC who is looking to link up with a pediatric
office in Tampa, Florida.  I have not approached the doctor yet, and would
appreciate any advice that LCs who work in doctor's offices may have to
offer.  Do you arrange a salary through the doctor or receive separate
payments from mothers?  Is it possible for the doctor to bill directly to
insurance companies for consult fee?

     Unfortunately, the area is not a very enlightened one, even though the
Tampa bay area has a population of approximately 1,000,000 people!  I am
trying my best to get myself out there, but it's tough to market in a tough
area.  Anyhow, any assistance would be helpful!   Thanks!!!        Debbie
