Niles Newton published about the fetus ejection reflex prior to Michel Odent, after she observed the behavior in infant mice. You might want to look for that study.

Subject: Niles Newton

Hi all,

After finishing Aletha Solters book (with really weird statements on
breastfeeding... :-s), I picked up 'Impact of Birthing Practices' again, by Mary
Kroeger (and Linda S.).
She writes about Niles Newton's groundbreaking work on oxytocin, called
'Maternal Emotions'.
Does anyone have or know this book? Is it worth buying?
It seems like a classic on oxytocin, which I'm really interested in.
Your opinions will be very much appreciated!

Bye,

Marianne Vanderveen IBCLC, Netherlands
