Interesting when you view it from the baby's point of view.  The formula is
figuratively and literally the baby's "free lunch" (and breakfast and
dinner and midnight snack), and what does the baby "owe" the formula
company for this "gift"?  Why, balking at the breast, reducing mom's milk
supply and requiring the parents to eventually purchase a year's supply of
this thoughtful "gift".
