Dear Lactnetters,
There is an article on on childhood obesity in the US in www.salon.com (you 
have to view an advertisement to be able to read the articles). IT is 
actually an interview to "Dr. Susan Okie, a family physician and medical 
journalist", author of the book "Fed Up! Winning the War Against Childhood 
Obesity"  <http://www.salon.com/mwt/feature/2005/04/16/kids_obesity/index.html>

Amazingly, there is no mention of breastfeeding. I could not believe it and 
made a search within the four pages of the interview, with the word 
"breast", and only found a reference to "chicken breasts".
