I will go back and reread your entire post further but had to tell you first that nobody seemed to have the name Camden when we named our son 9
years ago (actually 8 years and 10 months but we had it picked out months before from our trip to Camden, Maine).  And now it is popping up
everywhere.  Do you think it is because of that show, 7th Heaven where the main characters last names were Camden might have done it?

Anyway, love the name and now know it is going to be one of the trans-gender names, she is the first girl I have heard with it.  We talked to a
young mother in New York last month who was calling for her two year old son to '''get back here"  His name was Camden.  Thought it was a
fluke, but now I guess not.
