Hi All

What are your recommendations for an inflamed Montgomery gland? PTP. I have a client who has had one for a week that has not resolved. It looks like a cystic pimple, and she says it's very tender. I just saw her yesterday for the first time. I recommended warm compresses and polysporin and contacting OB. She missed her OB and now has to wait until Monday to talk with her. Client wants to know whether this can turn into mastitis, and how one develops this problem. I'm hesitant to recommend squeezing it, but I've seen that recommended in some places. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks
Tanya Powell, IBCLC
