A woman scalded her foot a week ago with boiling water. She has severe 2nd
and possibly some 3rd degree burns that wrap around her foot, sole and top.
She's nursing a 2 1/2 year old. She's scheduled for a skin graft near the
end of this month, if the burn doesn't show clear signs that it will heal
adequately - and with good, durable skin - by then.

She changes the dressing twice daily and is using a burn somethingorother on
it (didn't get the name - silver something?), the idea being to *keep it as
dry as possible* given that it weeps, and thus lower the risk of infection.
She has been on oral Augmentin and Keflex, but has still had some infection
in the wound.

Would she benefit in any way from using her milk on it? As a wash, for
instance? Or does the need to keep a burn dry override any benefit she
might derive from using some milk on it?
