Just this summer had a mom with a "lump" post drainage for abccess. She has had to have it "drained" 2 times now. It is just a pocket of fluid that builds up, not infectious. The dr hopes it will calm down. Pat in SNJ

Hi,

Can anyone pass along insight about experience with a mother needing a biopsy while lactating at 8 weeks? What questions to encourage her to ask? And have you ever seen progression of early plugged ducts, mastitis x 2, now lingering lump requiring biopsy?

Thanks,
