They do indeed advertise formula and condoms on television in the US.
"Carnation Good Start Formula...made to be gentle."  (Isn't Carnation a
Nestle company?  correct me if I'm wrong).  And Good Start is intended
by its manufacturer to be succeeded by Carnation Follow Up Formula.
Even Barney is brought to you (on PBS!) each morning by Mead Johnson's
Next Step Toddler Formula. These are the only ones thay come to mind,
maybe there are more.

I find the condom ads less offensive.
