"To all those motivated parents-to-be, I suggest buying an "tamaguchi".  My
kids wear
those cute little electronic animals around their necks.  Yuppies can
play with their electronic babies and just shut them off when they have
better things to do.  No mess, no bother..."

And, those little cyberpets get a bottle when you feed them.......sigh.  On
the plus side, tho, when my 7-year-old reacted with horror at the bottle
image when he went to feed "BitByte", and his friend said, "How else can you
feed an adopted baby?", my son DID reply, "Adopting moms can learn to
breastfeed, too!"  So I guess there is hope for our next generation of
cyber"parents"!
