I am wondering if this woman was frightened into not touching her
breasts in childhood as a taboo, or whether it was a sign of a wanton
woman, or if it is a cultural edict of saving herself for her intended.
I wonder if this applies to her other body parts also.

She got pregnant and most likely her husband does touch her. My snoopy
personality being what it is, I would have asked her if her husband
might
be allowed to touch her breasts to put the baby to the food source.
Then
taking it to him coaching her help their newborn feed.

If this is a cultural phenomenon, a male child especially may make the
husband even more interested in helping it be the healthiest it can be.
In some cultures the husband's edict toward the offspring is like law.

Also wonder if this is a love match or arranged marriage that she finds
distasteful.
