Yes, Wooldridge and Fisher did publish this some years ago. However, the
lactose overload syndrome was first described and published here in
Australia by Suzanne Cox from Tasmania - arguably one of Australia's most
experienced Lactation Consultants. I've just had the pleasure of her
company here this morning before she flew home - she was here addressing a
conference organised by one of our major maternity hospitals. She's a
fantastic speaker - speaks practically from much experience, then tells you
how it fits the theories.
She is going to the US on holidays in a couple of months and I believe
staying with some of you. She truly is a remarkable person and has made an
immense contribution to breastfeeding over many years.
