I would think 2lb (32oz) from birth (weight?) is not bad at 6 weeks...about 3/4oz per day even after subtracting for an initial weight loss and accounting for higher physiologic stress. How are the daily diaper counts?

Per a poster presentation a colleague and I did at ILCA 2005, we tested 11 commercial teats and found Dr. Brown to be the closest to Haberman in terms of slow (but not too slow) flow. It also produced the most consistent flow rate. We got comparable flow results for both Dr B wide-mouth/wide bottle-ring teat and for the standard-mouth/standard bottle-ring teat. If you'd like more info, email privately and I'll forward our abstract.

Karen
