I'd also like to put in a pitch for "The Mind of your Newborn Baby".  I
found it very affirming of the things we as LC's have observed about
infants.  I found it in the public library.  Another wonderful one full
of research is Richard Restak, MD's "The Infant Mind".  That one is out
of print, and is a bit older, but you might still be able to find it.
