Did mom begin using a hormonal birth control method?

Could baby have 'silent' reflux?

How does mom describe her milk supply? The baby's reactions sound
like they could be related to either over- or under-supply.

This baby seems to have hit the normal breastfed baby weight gain
slowdown much sooner than most. I had to put it into ounces to see
it well. I figure that after his initial 3 oz weight loss, he gained
an average of 12 oz a week thru 9 weeks. (Great!) Then from 9-12
weeks he gained just over 2 oz per week, and from 12-21 weeks about
1.5 ounces a week. Overall he's a big baby, 9.15 at birth and 17.2
at 5 months. I wonder how much of his weight gain pattern is
"catch-down" growth. You don't say how long he is or how big the
parents are, but it might not be in his genes to continue gaining
weight at a high rate.

Obviously his behavior indicates that something is bothering him, and
this needs to be addressed, but his weight gain pattern may be
_partly_ due to normal adjustments.
