Hello again
Does anyone have experience with congenital toxoplasmosis and breastfeeding?
I have a mum whose baby was picked up on routine screening and had only
planned to bf for 4 months or so. Thankfully this baby was caught quickly so
it looks like there are no longterm visual or other effect. she is now on
medication . the mum asked me if I could find any info on transmission of
antibodies/immunity and at what stage they occur. I have explained the 6
month gut closure thing and WHO guidelines but she is looking for more
specific info and times... I have searched the archives and my text books
but no luck!
Thanks
