I was struck by Kathryn Dettwyler's comments about anger at parents, drug
companies or society in general and then I have a strange image that
flashed through my (swiss cheese) brain.

Has anyone heard of a male wanting to have a larger scrotum? Would any
doctor worth her/his salt ever SUGGEST that what he needed was a larger
scrotum--so that he could feel more like a man? What about if he had
cancer of the testicles on the right side and that orb was removed? Would
he be encouraged to have an implant in order to be "even"? "not lop-sided,
(lump-sided)" or to make sure his partner still loved him? Just a thought.

I know about all the hoop-la about penile implants, so don't encourage me
further, but I just felt an overwhelming need to share that strange vision
with you. :-)

brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
