About mail clogging up people's Inboxes, there is a way with most email
programs to automatically filter/sort/stream incoming messages into various
folders that you designate. You do not have to move the messages manually
yourself. You can then deal with them when you have the time. Or you can
delete them en masse with a click of the button (you should be able to mark
all messages or a number of them for deletion, then delete them
simultaneously).

This doesn't solve the "mailbox full" problem (mailboxes with limited
capacity) - you'll have to complain to your ISP (internet service provider)
about that , but it does help manage things.
