Dear Friends:
    Starving women can make milk.
Mothers in the siege of Leningrad during WWII made enough milk to start a
milk bank to feed the babies whose mothers had died. The population was down
to eating sawdust.
So whatever else is dropping her supply, it is not her diet. Unless she
believes it is; belief being a powerful force that can certainly have an
impact on supply.
    Warmly,
Nikki Lee RN, MSN, Mother of 2, IBCLC, CIMI
craniosacral therapy practitioner; childbirth educator

supporting the WHO Code and the Mother Friendly Childbirth Initiative
