You have worked it all out already. You will now be able to say to a future 
client "I have worked with one dyad where the clipping caused some pain and 
crying and the bf did not improve right away, but it did w/i a few days." or 
something like that.
Never say never nor always. You can say "very often moms experience 
immediate relief of pain" or something like that but you should add that the 
clipping is not a guarantee. REally this is just informed consent.
