Rachel,
I wondered what this was about when I got it, then I read the Lactnet
digests.
I think you meant to send this to:

who wrote the posting that followed mine.

It could apply to our hospital , however.  Our OB manager has stated
"Well never
go for that certification because we'll never give up the free
formula."!  We
keep trying to point out the problems and are taking a "rock the boat
gradually"
approach.  By chipping away at the wall, they may not reinforce it with
impenetrable barriers as they might if we try to smash it with a
bettering ram.
I think we each get to know our settings including where we can
effectively push
for change and where we will get further in the long run by working for
gradual
change rather than trying to get where we would like to be and know we
should be
all at once.
Oh for that "magic wand" to get everyone and everything to work for the
benefit
of moms and babies all at once!
