Brenda, this sounds like a real nightmare to me.
  What first came to mind is that probably some part of those $$$ were paid to your boss as an aid in convincing her of MJ's good intentions. Perhaps you could go one step up the administrations ladder and inform her superior or consult with this person about aggressive marketing in the hospital that migt be endangering the most vulnarable patients.
