I was wondering what chemotherapeutic drugs Kathy Dettwelyer is taking. I
have an excellent resource Breast Cancer Breast Health The Wise Woman Way by
Susan Weed for dealing with the side effects, i.e. when chemotherapies that
depress the immune system are given in the am women recover faster from the
side effects and are four times as likely to survive five years as women
whose doses are not timed. Echinecea 25-50 drops per day can also be used to
bolster the immune system although your doctor should know you are taking
this as it can increase your white blood cell count. For the Nausea, Plain
yogurt by the spoonful slowly, marijuanna works wonderfully, slipperly elm
bark in lozenges soothes sore throats and intestines, milk thistle seed
tincture to protect the liver, make a box in your bathroom and write on
tissue things in your life you wish to get rid of and flush one every day,
etc.... I was wondering if the woman whose milk dried up as a result of a
cold? had a poor diet, nutrition to begin with. If she can make an infusion
(tea) of red rasberry leaves, blessed thistle, alfalfa and hops and drink one
to three cups a day it will help with her nutritional deficiencies, bolster
her immune system and increase her milk supply. Warn her the hops may cause
her to be sleepy and it might be bitter, so add lots of honey...Lisa Mooney,
RN BSN IBCLC soon to be beginning an Associate of Science Program in Holistic
Nursing
