I guess the point of the discussion about what people were fed as babies is that it is quite amazing what babies can survive on and appear "just fine"....I wonder how may parents who feel that infant formula is an adequate food for their babies would react in horror at the thought of giving their babies a mix of karo syrup and carnation milk (or whatever variation of awfulness has been described). I wonder if in the future parent will look back at what babies are fed now with similar angst?
